Kyoto Knit-A-long 2

As I'm making steady progress on my Kyoto, and the last knitalong didn't last long enough for me to finish, I proudly present the Kyoto knit-a-long 2.

To participate, save this button on your own server, put it on your blog. Send me an email arcadiawilde@yahoo.com and let me know you've joined us. I'll create a list of participants and list them on the sidebar here at K2TOG. When we have a few finished sweaters, we'll create a gallery.

There's also the Kyotoknits Yahoo! group that you can join to discuss knitting this sweater. :)

I'm so glad you're picking up the kyoto knitalong! The responses I got from people when I asked around were always so lackadaisical, I didn't know anyone wanted to continue. But clearly they do, and I'm so happy you are there for them. I'll post a link to this on my blog, too.

oh i should probably email about joining this new kyoto along, but i don't want to open up anything else on my machine right now or i'll die. my kyoto's not dead yet! i definitely have plans to revive and finish it in the next few weeks.

Hi. I would like to join this. Can you tell me what on earth a 'blog' is?

Ok, I found out what a 'blog' is. In-ter-est-ing.

I started my sweater a couple of days ago. 4 rows into the sash and I realized that I had twisted it, so I had to restart it.

I've got about 4 or 5 other things I'm working at the same time (gotta start Xmas stuff), so this will be slow-going for me.

i happily finally finished my kyoto over the weekend, seven months after i started it. it's far from perfect, and could use some tugging and blocking and adjustments to make it fit better... but it's DONE!!
